Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the conditions for accessing and using Homestele, exploring accommodation listings, submitting enquiries and interacting with our platform.

Table of Contents

1. Introduction

Welcome to Homestele, an accommodation discovery and enquiry platform operated by Homestele (“Homestele”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, digital services, accommodation listings, search functionality, enquiry forms and related communication channels.

Homestele is intended to help individuals, families, tourists, corporate travellers, medical travellers, students, groups and other guests discover accommodation options across India for short-term, extended and long-term stays.

Our platform may feature serviced apartments, hotels, guest houses, farmhouses, holiday homes, villas, private stays, corporate accommodation, event-related accommodation and other categories that may be introduced as our services expand.

These Terms apply to visitors, prospective guests, individuals submitting enquiries, persons making arrangements on behalf of other travellers, property owners, accommodation operators and other users of our services, subject to any separate agreements that apply to a particular relationship.

By accessing or using our website, submitting an enquiry, communicating with our team or using another service offered through Homestele, you agree to comply with these Terms to the extent legally applicable. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the relevant services.

Where a separate written agreement, booking confirmation, property-specific policy or partner agreement applies to a particular transaction, that document should be read together with these Terms. If there is a conflict, the applicable mandatory law and the terms expressly agreed for that transaction will take precedence to the extent required.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right or other legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. About Homestele

Homestele provides and manages the Homestele website and the services made available through it. The platform helps users explore accommodation information, identify potentially suitable stays and submit enquiries to obtain further information or booking assistance.

Depending on the property, location and commercial arrangement, Homestele may act as an accommodation discovery platform, enquiry facilitator, referral service, authorised booking agent or provider of other related services. The role performed for a particular transaction will depend on the actual arrangement and the information communicated to the user.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a property appearing on Homestele does not automatically mean that Homestele owns, leases, operates, manages or directly provides that property.

Accommodation may be provided by independent hotel operators, serviced apartment owners, guest house operators, farmhouse owners, villa owners, property managers, hospitality businesses or other authorised providers.

Where Homestele directly operates a property or provides a service in its own capacity, the relevant terms, confirmation or agreement will identify the applicable arrangement as appropriate.

We may expand our operations to additional cities, states and destinations across India and introduce further accommodation categories, booking features, partner services or other travel-related services. These Terms are intended to cover such future developments where relevant, subject to any additional terms, disclosures or legal requirements that apply.

3. Eligibility and Authority to Use the Website

You may use the website only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You must be legally capable of entering into the relevant transaction or have the necessary authorisation to act on behalf of another person or organisation.

If you submit an enquiry for a family member, employee, colleague, group, patient or another traveller, you confirm that you are authorised to provide the information you submit and to communicate with us about the requested accommodation.

If you are a corporate representative, travel coordinator, employer, event organiser or other business representative, you are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate authority to make the enquiry and communicate relevant requirements on behalf of the organisation or individuals concerned.

Our website is not intended to be used by individuals who are legally prohibited from accessing the services offered. Where accommodation or booking arrangements involve age restrictions, guardian requirements or other eligibility conditions, the applicable property’s rules and legal requirements will apply.

We reserve the right to decline, restrict or discontinue a request where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, protect users, prevent misuse or enforce these Terms, subject to applicable legal obligations.

4. Nature of Our Services

4.1 Accommodation Discovery

Homestele may provide property descriptions, photographs, location information, amenities, accommodation categories, occupancy details, indicative prices where available and other information intended to help users compare accommodation options.

Users may browse properties, search by destination or locality, filter by accommodation type or facilities, and review information relevant to their intended stay.

The availability and completeness of information may vary by property, accommodation provider and location. Some properties may have detailed descriptions and photographs, while others may have limited information pending confirmation from the relevant provider.

4.2 Enquiry and Assistance Services

Users may submit enquiries through website forms, telephone, WhatsApp, email or other communication channels made available by us.

Depending on the request, our team may respond with additional information, ask clarifying questions, communicate with property operators, relay quotations, identify alternatives or assist with the next steps towards a possible booking.

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically create a confirmed reservation, guarantee a particular rate or establish a right to occupy a property.

4.3 Booking-Related Services

Where a booking arrangement is supported, the applicable process, responsible provider, confirmation method, payment arrangements and cancellation conditions will be communicated as appropriate.

A booking is considered confirmed only when the required confirmation has been issued through the designated process and any applicable conditions for confirmation have been satisfied.

A conversation with our team, an unaccepted quotation, a property enquiry, an availability indication or a preliminary discussion should not be treated as a confirmed reservation unless the relevant communication expressly confirms the booking.

4.4 Future Services

Homestele may introduce online booking functionality, payment processing, availability tools, property partner dashboards, promotional listings, corporate accommodation services, extended-stay arrangements, additional property categories or other services in the future.

Such features may be subject to separate terms, eligibility requirements, payment conditions, technical limitations or additional notices. The availability of a future service is not guaranteed merely because it is mentioned in these Terms.

5. Property Listings and Accommodation Categories

Homestele may display a wide range of accommodation, including but not limited to:

  • Serviced apartments and furnished apartments.
  • Hotels, resorts and boutique hotels.
  • Guest houses, lodges and bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
  • Farmhouses, villas, holiday homes and private stays.
  • Corporate accommodation and employee or project stays.
  • Medical accommodation for patients and accompanying persons.
  • Student accommodation and relocation stays.
  • Wedding, group and event-related accommodation.
  • Other accommodation categories introduced in the future.

The inclusion of a category does not guarantee that properties in that category are available in every destination.

Each property may have different facilities, occupancy limits, operating arrangements, access restrictions, minimum-stay requirements, house rules, prices and booking conditions.

Users should review the property information and obtain confirmation of any important requirement before committing to a booking. Where a specific facility, accessibility feature, kitchen, parking arrangement, private pool, pet permission, event permission or other feature is essential, please obtain confirmation from the relevant provider.

6. Accuracy of Property Information

We aim to present accommodation information clearly and make reasonable efforts, where appropriate to our role, to maintain useful and accurate listings. However, property details may be supplied or updated by independent owners, managers and accommodation operators.

Information may change over time, including:

  • Property availability and minimum-stay requirements.
  • Rates, taxes, deposits and additional charges.
  • Room configurations, bedroom counts and guest capacity.
  • Furniture, interiors, photographs and property condition.
  • Facilities, amenities, housekeeping and services.
  • Check-in and check-out arrangements.
  • House rules, visitor policies and restrictions.
  • Directions, travel distances and nearby facilities.
  • Renovation status, operating hours and access conditions.

Photographs are intended to illustrate the accommodation and may not always represent every room, unit, view, furnishing or current condition. A property description may refer to general features or representative images, particularly where multiple rooms or units are offered.

If any detail is essential to your decision, you should ask for confirmation before booking. This includes suitability for children, accessibility needs, medical requirements, work facilities, parking, cooking facilities, pet arrangements and event permissions.

Nothing in this section excuses misleading descriptions, material misrepresentation or other conduct prohibited by applicable law.

7. Search Results, Recommendations and Sponsored Listings

Search results may be displayed according to factors such as relevance to your search, selected filters, location, accommodation type, available information or other ranking criteria.

Where sponsored listings, paid placements, featured properties or promotional content are displayed, they may be identified or disclosed as required by applicable law and the relevant platform presentation.

A property’s position in search results, featured status, visual presentation or promotional placement should not be interpreted as a guarantee of quality, suitability, availability or endorsement by Homestele.

Users should compare relevant details and make their own informed decisions. We may change search layouts, ranking methods, promotional arrangements and filtering options as the platform evolves, subject to applicable disclosure and consumer protection requirements.

8. Enquiries and Booking Confirmation

8.1 Submitting an Enquiry

When submitting an enquiry, you should provide accurate and complete information about your requirements, including the destination, intended dates, number of guests, accommodation type and any material preferences requested by the form.

Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the suitability of the options provided or delay a response.

We may contact you through the telephone number, WhatsApp account, email address or other contact method you provide to clarify your request or communicate relevant options.

8.2 Enquiry Does Not Guarantee Availability

Accommodation enquiries are requests for information or assistance. A property may be unavailable, already reserved, subject to a minimum stay or unable to accommodate your particular requirements.

Availability may change before a booking is confirmed. An indication that a property appears suitable or may be available is not a guarantee that it will remain available.

8.3 Quotations and Offers

A quotation may include the proposed accommodation, stay dates, occupancy, applicable charges, inclusions and any special conditions known at the time it is issued.

Unless a quotation specifies a different validity period, it should be treated as subject to confirmation by the responsible provider and to the terms communicated with the offer.

A quotation does not constitute a confirmed reservation unless expressly stated. Prices may be revised before confirmation where availability, taxes, occupancy, dates or other relevant conditions change, subject to applicable law and any binding offer already accepted.

8.4 Confirmation of a Booking

A booking is confirmed only when the applicable confirmation has been communicated through the designated booking process by the responsible party and any required conditions have been fulfilled.

Depending on the arrangement, confirmation may require written acceptance, a booking reference, payment of an advance, completion of required information or another expressly communicated step.

Users should retain the booking confirmation and all relevant communications. If confirmation details appear incorrect or incomplete, contact the responsible provider or Homestele promptly.

8.5 Changes Before Confirmation

Before confirmation, the user may request changes to dates, guest numbers, accommodation type or other details. Such changes may require a revised quotation or a new availability check.

We cannot guarantee that a requested change will be accepted or that the original rate or property will remain available.

9. Pricing, Taxes and Additional Charges

Accommodation prices may depend on the property, destination, season, dates, occupancy, length of stay, room or unit type, facilities and other conditions.

Where a price is displayed, users should review the accompanying information to understand whether it is a nightly rate, per-room rate, per-unit rate, monthly quotation, package price or another pricing basis.

The final amount may include applicable taxes, service charges, cleaning fees, security deposits, extra-guest charges, meal charges, parking charges, event fees or other property-specific costs. Such charges should be communicated as required by applicable law and the relevant booking arrangement.

Where a quotation is described as inclusive of specified charges, those inclusions should be read together with any disclosed exclusions or conditions.

For long-term or monthly accommodation, rates may depend on the length of stay, utility consumption, housekeeping, maintenance, deposits, minimum occupancy periods and other agreed terms. A nightly price should not automatically be interpreted as a guaranteed monthly rate.

Users should request a complete quotation before committing to an arrangement, particularly for extended stays, corporate bookings, group accommodation, weddings or events.

Homestele will not intentionally misrepresent applicable charges. Where a price or charge has been displayed or agreed, any correction or change will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant contractual arrangement.

10. Payments and Financial Transactions

The party responsible for collecting payment will depend on the particular property and booking arrangement. Payment may be made directly to the accommodation provider or, where expressly arranged, through an authorised payment process involving Homestele or a designated payment service provider.

Before making a payment, users should confirm the identity of the recipient, the amount payable, the payment method, the purpose of the payment and the applicable cancellation and refund conditions.

Do not make payment to an individual or account solely because that person claims to represent Homestele or a property. If payment instructions appear suspicious or differ from the confirmed arrangement, verify them through an independently established contact channel before proceeding.

Payment deadlines, deposits, instalments, security deposits and balances will be governed by the terms communicated for the relevant booking.

Where a third-party payment gateway is used, the payment provider may apply its own terms, security procedures, processing requirements and refund timelines.

Homestele will not be responsible for guaranteeing the availability of a third-party payment service at all times. However, nothing in these Terms removes any responsibility that Homestele or another party may have under applicable law or an express payment arrangement.

11. Cancellation, Changes and Refunds

Cancellation and modification conditions may differ between properties and bookings. The applicable policy should be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

A booking may have a free-cancellation period, a partial cancellation charge, a non-refundable component or other conditions, depending on the offer and applicable law.

Users should review the specific cancellation terms rather than assume that all properties follow the same policy.

11.1 Guest-Initiated Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, you should contact the party responsible for the reservation using the designated communication channel and follow the applicable cancellation procedure.

The refund amount, if any, may depend on the cancellation deadline, the amount paid, the property’s disclosed conditions, services already provided and any applicable legal requirements.

A cancellation request is not necessarily effective merely because a message has been sent. Users should retain written acknowledgement or confirmation of the cancellation.

11.2 Changes to a Booking

Requests to change dates, occupancy, room type, duration or other booking details are subject to availability and acceptance by the responsible provider.

Changes may affect the price, applicable taxes, deposits, cancellation conditions or other terms. A revised confirmation should be obtained where the change is accepted.

11.3 Property-Initiated Cancellation or Unavailability

If a property becomes unavailable, cancels a confirmed booking or cannot provide the agreed accommodation, the responsible party should communicate the position and the available options in accordance with the booking terms and applicable law.

Depending on the arrangement, options may include a refund, alternative accommodation or another mutually agreed solution. An alternative should not be treated as accepted unless the relevant party agrees to it.

11.4 Refund Processing

Where a refund is due, it will be processed by the party responsible for the payment under the applicable arrangement. Processing times may depend on payment methods, banking systems, payment providers and verification requirements.

If Homestele did not collect the original payment, we may need to refer the refund request to the accommodation provider or payment recipient, while providing appropriate assistance within the scope of our role.

No provision of this section is intended to deny a refund or remedy that is legally required.

For detailed procedures, please refer to our separate Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy.

12. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for reviewing the property details, confirming their requirements and complying with the conditions applicable to their stay.

Guests must provide accurate information regarding their identity where lawfully required, occupancy, intended dates, purpose of stay and any material requirements requested during the booking process.

Guests should respect the property, its staff, neighbours, other occupants and applicable community rules. They must not engage in unlawful activity, harassment, violence, property damage, unauthorised commercial use or conduct that creates an unreasonable safety risk.

The number of occupants must remain within the confirmed capacity and the property’s applicable rules. Additional visitors, overnight guests, events, parties or gatherings must be authorised where required.

Smoking, pets, cooking, alcohol consumption, loud music, photography, filming and other activities may be subject to property-specific rules and applicable law. Users should confirm these conditions before booking rather than assume that a particular activity is permitted.

Guests must comply with lawful instructions concerning check-in, check-out, identification, access, safety, security deposits and the use of facilities.

If a guest causes damage, violates an agreed condition or incurs a properly disclosed charge, responsibility will be determined by the relevant booking terms and applicable law. Charges should be supported by an appropriate basis and should not be imposed contrary to mandatory consumer rights.

13. Property-Specific Rules and Accommodation Suitability

Each property may establish rules appropriate to its type, location, facilities, safety requirements and operating arrangements.

These rules may include check-in and check-out times, guest capacity, identification requirements, visitor restrictions, quiet hours, pet policies, smoking restrictions, event permissions, security procedures, cooking restrictions and minimum-stay requirements.

Hotels may apply room-specific rules and front-desk procedures. Serviced apartments may have building access rules, residential community restrictions or additional housekeeping arrangements. Guest houses may have shared-space requirements. Farmhouses and private stays may have pool-safety rules, outdoor-area restrictions, event conditions or additional security requirements.

Long-term stays may require separate agreements dealing with deposits, utility costs, maintenance, notice periods, duration, access and other occupancy arrangements.

Users are responsible for asking questions about any rule that materially affects their intended stay. Where a property’s requirements conflict with applicable law, the applicable law will prevail.

14. Corporate, Medical, Family and Long-Term Accommodation

Homestele may assist with accommodation enquiries for business assignments, employee relocation, corporate projects, hospital visits, medical treatment, family travel, education, weddings, group events and extended stays.

14.1 Corporate and Business Accommodation

Corporate enquiries may be made by employees, HR teams, travel coordinators, employers, consultants or other authorised representatives. The person making the enquiry should provide accurate occupancy, location, dates, invoicing and other relevant requirements.

Corporate payment arrangements, billing, tax documentation, purchase orders, credit terms and cancellation conditions must be expressly agreed with the responsible party. No corporate credit facility or special payment term is created merely because an enquiry is submitted on behalf of a company.

14.2 Medical Accommodation

Medical accommodation may be sought by patients, family members, attendants or other accompanying persons. Users should confirm the property’s location, accessibility, lift availability, cooking facilities, length-of-stay options and other relevant practical features.

Homestele is an accommodation service and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, clinical advice or emergency medical services merely by helping users identify accommodation.

Property proximity to a hospital does not guarantee suitability for a particular medical condition or level of care. Any essential accessibility or support requirement should be confirmed directly with the relevant provider.

14.3 Long-Term and Monthly Stays

Extended accommodation may involve different rates, minimum periods, deposits, utility arrangements, housekeeping, maintenance, notice requirements and occupancy conditions.

Where a separate lease, licence, occupancy agreement or other written arrangement is required, the relevant parties must enter into that arrangement directly or through the authorised process. These website Terms do not automatically replace or constitute a separate property occupancy agreement.

The legal nature of a stay depends on the actual arrangement and applicable law, not solely on the label used in a listing.

14.4 Weddings, Events and Group Stays

A property that is suitable for ordinary accommodation may not permit parties, weddings, commercial events, photography, gatherings or large groups.

Users must obtain explicit confirmation of any event permission, guest capacity, noise restrictions, additional fees, security requirements and applicable approvals before making arrangements.

15. Property Owners and Accommodation Providers

Property owners, managers and accommodation operators whose properties are listed or promoted through Homestele may be subject to separate Property Partner Terms or a written agreement with Homestele.

Partners are responsible for providing accurate property details, lawful photographs and descriptions, correct facilities, current rates and availability information, occupancy conditions, house rules and other information relevant to guests.

Partners must have the legal right and necessary authority to offer the accommodation and must maintain applicable registrations, licences, permissions, safety arrangements and compliance requirements relevant to their property and business.

Partners must promptly communicate material changes, including closure, unavailability, renovation, changes to facilities, pricing updates, safety concerns and restrictions that may affect an existing or prospective booking.

Partners must not use the platform to publish unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, deceptive or unauthorised content, or to misrepresent their ownership, authority, property condition or booking terms.

Where partners receive enquiries directly, they are responsible for handling them appropriately and honouring any obligations they have expressly accepted. The allocation of booking, payment, cancellation and guest-service responsibilities must be determined by the applicable partner agreement and transaction terms.

Homestele may request clarification, corrections or supporting information and may restrict, suspend or remove a listing where reasonably necessary to address suspected inaccuracies, complaints, safety issues, legal concerns or violations of the applicable terms.

16. Third-Party Services and Independent Providers

Our website may contain links to external websites, mapping services, communication platforms, payment gateways, social networks or other third-party services.

Those services may operate under separate terms and privacy policies. Homestele does not control every aspect of their availability, content, security or operation.

Where a user chooses to transact directly with an independent accommodation provider, the provider’s agreed booking conditions will govern the relevant transaction, subject to applicable law and any separate obligations undertaken by Homestele.

The involvement of an independent provider does not remove any responsibility that Homestele may have for its own representations, conduct or obligations under applicable law.

Users should verify the identity and authority of a provider before sending money or sharing additional personal information through external channels.

17. Intellectual Property and Website Content

Unless otherwise indicated, the website’s original design, branding, logos, text, graphics, software, layout and other original materials are owned by or used under licence by Homestele or the relevant rights holder.

You may browse the website and use its content for personal, non-commercial accommodation research. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, scrape, systematically extract or commercially exploit website content without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

Property photographs, logos, descriptions and other third-party materials may belong to their respective owners or licensors. Their appearance on Homestele does not transfer ownership or grant unrestricted permission to reuse them.

If you submit content to us, including property descriptions, photographs or other materials, you confirm that you have the rights and authority necessary to submit it. Any permission granted to Homestele to use such content should be governed by the applicable partner agreement, submission terms or other express authorisation.

18. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities

You must use Homestele lawfully and in a manner that does not compromise the security, integrity or proper operation of the website.

You must not:

  • Submit false, misleading, fraudulent or unauthorised information.
  • Impersonate another individual, property owner, company or accommodation provider.
  • Use enquiry forms to send spam, malicious links or unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Attempt to access restricted systems, administrative functions or other users’ information without authorisation.
  • Interfere with website security, availability or performance.
  • Introduce malware, malicious code or other harmful material.
  • Scrape or systematically collect property or user information without permission.
  • Use the website to facilitate unlawful accommodation, fraud, exploitation, harassment or other prohibited conduct.
  • Copy or commercially exploit protected content without the required rights.
  • Circumvent reasonable technical controls or abuse website functionality.

We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate action, including limiting access, removing content, suspending a listing, refusing an enquiry or reporting suspected unlawful conduct where appropriate and legally permitted.

Any action taken will remain subject to applicable law and any rights that the affected person may have.

19. Website Availability and Technical Changes

We aim to keep the website useful and accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or compatibility with every device, browser or network.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting problems, security incidents, technical failures, third-party service interruptions or other circumstances.

We may modify, update, replace or discontinue website features, search filters, layouts, content or services as our business develops.

Where a change affects a confirmed booking or an existing contractual obligation, we will handle the matter according to the relevant arrangement and applicable law. A general right to modify the website does not authorise us to disregard a binding obligation.

Users are responsible for maintaining suitable internet access, protecting their devices and reviewing communications relating to their enquiries or bookings.

20. Complaints, Support and Dispute Resolution

If you experience a problem with a property listing, enquiry, booking communication, payment arrangement or other service, please contact Homestele through the official contact details provided on the website.

Where relevant, include your enquiry reference, booking reference, property name, dates and a clear description of the issue. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

We will review complaints within the scope of our role and seek to direct the matter to the responsible party where appropriate. If the issue concerns a property operator, payment recipient or third-party service, resolution may require cooperation from that party.

Where a grievance-handling process or designated grievance contact is legally required, the applicable contact details and process should be provided in the relevant website disclosures.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising statutory consumer rights, approaching a competent consumer dispute resolution body or using another remedy available under applicable law.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Homestele will not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control, such as interruptions to third-party services, network failures, events beyond reasonable control or independent acts of third parties for which Homestele has no legal responsibility.

The responsibility for the physical operation of a property, its condition, staffing, facilities and day-to-day guest services ordinarily rests with the party operating or controlling that property, subject to the actual arrangements and applicable law.

However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, or for obligations that Homestele has expressly undertaken and cannot lawfully disclaim.

Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer remedies or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other matters that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Where a particular booking is governed by a separate agreement, the liability provisions of that agreement will apply to the extent lawful and consistent with mandatory legal rights.

22. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user may be responsible for reasonable losses, claims or expenses directly arising from their unlawful conduct, fraud, deliberate misuse of the platform or material breach of these Terms.

A property partner’s responsibilities for inaccurate listings, unauthorised use of photographs, unlawful accommodation operations or other partner-related breaches may be addressed separately in the Property Partner Terms or applicable agreement.

Nothing in this section creates liability for a person where the law does not permit it, imposes an unreasonable obligation on a consumer or removes any non-waivable statutory protection.

23. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Circumstances such as natural disasters, severe weather, public emergencies, government restrictions, civil disturbances, transport disruptions, major infrastructure failures or other events beyond a party’s reasonable control may affect accommodation availability or the performance of an arrangement.

Where such circumstances arise, the affected parties should communicate promptly and consider the options available under the booking terms and applicable law.

Possible arrangements may include changes to dates, alternative accommodation, cancellation or refunds where required or agreed. The outcome will depend on the specific circumstances, the applicable agreement and legal obligations.

This section does not automatically cancel a confirmed booking, remove a refund obligation or permit a party to disregard mandatory law.

24. Privacy and Personal Information

Our collection and use of personal information through the website are described in the Privacy Policy.

By using the website, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review that policy. Where consent or another lawful basis is required for a particular processing activity, we will handle the information according to applicable law.

Users should provide only information that is reasonably necessary for their enquiry and should not submit another person’s personal information without appropriate authority.

The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms and any additional privacy notice provided for a particular service.

25. Suspension, Termination and Refusal of Service

We may restrict or suspend access to some or all website functionality where reasonably necessary to address security risks, suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, material misuse, violation of these Terms or legal requirements.

We may decline a new enquiry or remove a property listing where there is a reasonable basis to believe that continuing the service would create a material safety, compliance, fraud or operational concern.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may notify the affected person of the action taken and provide a means to seek clarification or review.

Suspension of website access does not automatically cancel an existing confirmed booking or remove contractual obligations already incurred. Any such matter must be handled under the relevant booking arrangement and applicable law.

26. Changes to These Terms

Homestele may revise these Terms to reflect changes to its business model, accommodation categories, website functionality, partner arrangements, operational procedures or legal requirements.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Changes will apply as permitted by applicable law. Where a change materially affects an existing contract or requires notice, acceptance or consent, we will follow the applicable legal and contractual requirements.

Users should review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the website after a revised version is published may indicate acceptance only to the extent that such acceptance is legally effective and permitted.

27. Severability and Waiver

If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable or unlawful, the provision will be applied to the maximum extent legally permissible or, where necessary, treated as severable from the remaining provisions.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent they remain valid and consistent with applicable law.

A failure or delay in exercising a right does not automatically amount to a waiver of that right. Any waiver will be effective only to the extent legally permitted.

28. No Automatic Transfer of Rights

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under a particular booking or arrangement without the consent required by the applicable agreement or law.

Homestele may reorganise its business or transfer relevant operations as part of a lawful restructuring or business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements and any contractual obligations.

Any transfer affecting an existing booking, personal information or consumer rights will be handled according to the relevant agreement and applicable law.

29. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory laws and consumer protections.

Any dispute will be addressed through the dispute resolution procedures available under applicable law. Where a court or other competent authority has jurisdiction, that jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with the law and the relevant contractual arrangement.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive an eligible consumer of a statutory right to bring a complaint or pursue a remedy before a competent authority.

Before publication, Homestele should confirm the appropriate jurisdiction clause based on its actual legal entity, registered address, business operations and the nature of the services offered.
